I have heard many instances of Nepali guys in the US or Canada going to Nepal to get married. Then, they apply for visa for the wife and it gets denied, or possibly takes 5 to 10 years.
The married guy comes back to the US and at tries to see what he can do to get the wife to the US. The US immigration being what it is, once it's denied there's no way out of it. So what ends up happening is the just married girl has to remain in Nepal waiting forever while the guy is already starting to get back into his swing of life in the US as a single guy.
I have seen many girls despairing in Nepal after this kind of episodes. The guy on the other hand scored a nice honeymoon out of all this, while the girl is suffering for god knows how many years. She can't even have a normal life anymore.
The educated guys from US should stop exploiting such girls in Nepal and stop screwing up their lives. Unless you have a US citizenship, you very well know that it could take years to get the girl in the US so stop knowingly screwing up a girl's life.
I have few families in Nepal who married off thier daughters to these US returned guys and now the lives of the whole family is in turmoil. The parents are regretting the whole thing. The daughters are torn between living in the guys house or their own house. Not being able to have normal life.

@freedom, earlier you were presumptuous, now you are offensive...I am 'eutab4' not 'eutaby'
Hahahaha....just joking.
But on a serious note, yes, I think Nepalese society is getting worse when it comes to (social) class dynamism. Does this sound familiar?

@gorikopoi... i'm tired of your nonsense and on almost every post you make a comment about how you have american girlfriends and how you dont hang out nepali girls... BUT looking at your comments looks like you are trying to justify how you cannot make any girlfriends and in a world of fantasy... and like most nepali guys who have fat and ugly american girlfriends since they cant score a beautiful one....i bet your girlfriends are like that as well.... and here you brag abt how u hate nepali culture and nepali girls.. get yourself a life and figure out who you are first and stop living in fantasy world... and wake up before its too late and you go crazy dude....

It is a 2 way street. No one is getting married by force. If one does not want.. one dun have to. Now if the family is involved then you cannot blame the individuals involved. It is the family's fault(when it is arranged).

Nobody is getting married by force but the people in Nepal are naive so they do not know how difficult it is to get the visa. It is their fault that they trust the guy. But the guy knowingly gets into the marriage knowing very well that the girl would probably not get the visa.

If the girl is willing to take that risk you cannot just blame the guy. Being Naive and trusting is something other than the guy taking advantage. You can make people aware but you cannot solely put the blame on the guy.

You educated people should stop putting the blame on the girl or girl's family. If the guy knowingly put them in that kind of situation it is the guys fault period.
When girls get sold in indian brothels after getting married to some sleazy guy, you don't want to blame the girl and her family saying it's their fault too because they are naive and trusting.

Deusirey," You educated people should stop putting the blame on the girl or girl's family." This is BS, Say you have a daughter and some dude comes from US to marry her or could be a slave trader from India asking for her hand. Shouldn't it be you and your family's duty to make sure that she will be in safe hands ? And you want to blame the guy for swindling for not doing a through background check. Then again you are going to say ppl in Nepal don't have the resources to do that. If you don't have the resources then maybe ppl in Nepal should stop marrying Non Resident Nepalis. Tyo Chi Chi pani chainey Papa pani chainey ? You cannot have it both ways.
Deusirey,"If the guy knowingly put them in that kind of situation it is the guys fault period." REMEMBER THEY HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO REFUSE IF THEY SMELL SOMETHING FISHY.
Deusirey,"When girls get sold in indian brothels after getting married to some sleazy guy, you don't want to blame the girl and her family saying it's their fault too because they are naive and trusting." So you want to blame the guy for their naive and trusting nature ? Awareness and Educating them would be more fruitful than blaming the guy.

Bathroomcoffee that's very smart, blame the victims for their naive and trusting nature, and don't blame the guy who sold them to prostitution rings?
How long has the selling of innocent naive nepali girls indian brothels been going on? It's easier to preach awareness and education but that's not happening anytime soon in Nepal. It's been like 50 years but it's still going on every day to this day. So according to your great knowledge you would keep on blaming the girls and their families for not being educated and aware, instead of blaming the conceited men who are doing it?
Bravo bravo!

ha ha now we are comparing someone getting married to someone being sold in a brothel, i love how things take idotic turns around here, deusi you sir will win the award for being the most logically illogical person.
so deusi what caused all this frustration to brew? huband in Murica and you in Nepal? husband said H1 easy to get visa before, but now has a green card and not so easy to get visa? 5 years of wait time, flapping like a fish out of water while husband is fapping like a water in a fish?

Deusirey," Bathroomcoffee that's very smart, blame the victims for their naive and trusting nature, and don't blame the guy who sold them to prostitution rings?" lol !! We are talking about people gatting married here if I am not mistaken. It would be another story if they were kidnapped. Now Deusirey would you willingly give away your daughter(if he had one) to someone if you knew she is going to a brothel ? Isn't it your fatherly duty to check up on that ? Of course HE WANTS TO BLAME THE GUY FOR NOT DOING HIS OWN JOB PROPERLY. If the devil shows up at his door, its the Devils fault not his. lol
Deusirey,"How long has the selling of innocent naive nepali girls indian brothels been going on? It's easier to preach awareness and education but that's not happening anytime soon in Nepal. lol Those coneited men are going to keep showing up dood !! It is never going to stop. But it is up to your daughter and her family to choose the groom, not the other way around. Nobody's putting a gun to your head to marry someone, if you find something fishy YOU CAN ALWAYS SAY NO. You Have that Choice Excercise it.
Next thing you know if a conman swindles you.. you're the type that would say its the conman's fault not mine(not that I should have guarded my shit more properly). lol Instead of taking responsibility ...Yeah play the blame game.. its much easier.

Haha so according to the great sajha philosopher bathroomcoffee, it is not the criminal but the victim is to blame for being susceptible to the crime. Haha so according to you, you wouldn't need any police in the country because everyone's supposed to protect themselves and be aware of the situation themselves.
Bravo again! Encore encore!

Lack of education , awareness , technology , facilities, job ,security ,love etc are root cause for this . If sojha sajha people are educated then surely they won't do such mistake which they suffer for certain period of time in some case forever.waiting is not fun specificly more than 5 years because if a guy is 30 and gets. Married after 5 years he becomes 35 ani 30 ra 35 bars a ko manchelepaone youn Amanda beglai Huncha

The marriage can't be compared to being sold to brothels in India. Here's why:
1) In case of girls being sold into brothels, the family of these girls are illiterate and can't properly think for themselves. In the case of marriage, this is not the case.
2) In the case of brothels girls, the perpetrators are intentionally trying to deceive. In marriage, it is not so. The guy decided to start a family with her.
3) In marriage, if for some reason you want out, you can always get a divorce. Girls sold to brothels usually need to be rescued.

Of course this FOOLISH MORON WANTS TO BLINDLY MARRY SOMEONE AND LATR IF things DUN GO YOUR WAY LATR BLAME THE OTHER FOR THE PREDICAMENT ONE IS IN. Yesto gadha lai ke bhanney ? Of course he is going to confuse you with criminal and victim again...

I recently heard a story (from my co-worker who is nepali too) that a guy wen to get married after talking over the phone and skype, and their family were ready too, it was kinda a love and arrange...
Once the guy reach Nepal, the girl refused saying he is fat just few days ago before the marraige.
Now the guy is back and had promised that he will never marry girl from Nepal ( will marry who is already here)..
So my point is exploitation happens both ways, Even seen girls getting married just to come to US and getting divorced as soon as they land.
I don't believe that guy goes back home spending 15k and more if getting married just becuase he wants to get married, spend few nights with wife and come back alone. and again start being single here. Thats a lot of money to find wife-like for many many nights.
But I do agree that girls family should be more careful when dealing with Guys from US. Many do that becuase they have family pressure and becuase their intentions are not good. But cannot generalize that. At the same time, I think girls family do have some form of selffishness (may it be finanacial or others) when they are unware with the situations of the guy, and as a whole how US life is and what the guys does back here in US.

I know a lot of instances when a guy from the United States or Canada go to Nepal, and the women take advantage of these gentlemen, get hitched with them in dreams of landing in the United States or Canada.
We gotta stop this deceptive exploitation of US returnee gentlemen in Nepal from the ladies!
**This whole argument is stupid**
Ohh btw, when I said "a lot of instances" I actually meant "few family" above.
