There was a program earlier today on BBC Nepali where few people got an opportunity to ask a question to Prachanda.
People seems to worry and wanted to know when we will have peace in our country and the same time everybody was concerned about all the sufferings of the people in daily life which just don't seem to end.
But Prachanda seems to make a point that what he is doing right for the future of our country and he is fighting against the real enemy of our country and they are not the actual enemies that the people may think they are.
I also emailed to BBC to ask my question, which I've mentioned below. I just wonder what you would have asked? What are your concerns? What do you think is right and what is wrong? What should have been done and what may be is happening at the moment? What is the future of our people and country?

My question was: -
I know very little Nepali politics, and as one common Nepali citizen, what I know Maoist best is for intimidation, forced unionization, extortion and killings. Maoists have been continuing excesses despite their commitment not to do so.

If you as a Maoist have done right things before and doing right things now by doing what you are doing, how can we understand this so-called cease-fire and peace process and your vision to future of Nepal while the law and order situation is deteriorating day-by-day?

What you trying to achieve, is it for your own satisfaction or for Maoists only or for all of us common Nepalese people? We, all Nepali citizens want only one thing, which is ‘PEACE’. Why don’t you fight with the enemies of our country, those who are against the peace and make them suffer but not your own common people instead?

I can disregard the past, atleast for now. Foward looking, Every nation develops with a leader, its future lies in the leader. Given a chance to be leader of Nepal to drive it to a prosperarity, how do you plan to put yourself in the driving seat, given transparency in your activities, and gurantee that you can be punished ifyou intentionally do something wrong. Do you have any plans of such arrangement that being head of state you still can face questions? (Had it been Girija, I would have asked about Dhamija and Tanakpur Kandas). What guarante can you give that, if you misuse the power, you will be punished?

Sujan bro, cant disagree more with your comment on maoist's BUT you have to understand that the catchy communist slogans goes very well with poor people (which makes up about 60% of population). For country, i think the best outcome would be that maoist come to power having learned that they cant rule the country like lenin or mao. I wish maoist leadership (whatever bad you talk, they have proved to be far better politicians then current bunch of MF's) try to transform their movement to social democrat model.

i chated with one of my uncle who is a big businessman. He said maoist came to the office three days earlier . They put a revolver in the desk and asked for some Chanda. in the words of maoist it is jabarjasti nagari uthaeko chanda . after a long discussion the mooist agreed to take 3 lakhs rupees from company.

my uncles company despite being big is running in loss at the moment. But these maoist would never see that. Asking for money by extortion. what could we expect from their government. I think this prachanda should never be given a chance. When you know that cyanide kills you why would you try to test it and find out it kills you. giving government to this maoist is suicidal. this barta will soon end i am pretty sure there will be war again . I hope prachanda is killed a painful death for all suffering for th innocent lives.

My question would have been.

You have destroyed half of the youths of nepal mentally, exposing them to violence. If this war gets over, hopefully not, nepal is going to be the country of crooks.

What do u have to say about this master ass prachanda?

I have no sympathy to maoist leaders and probably wont have any if i see them being treated in a way some said BUT thats not gonna end the problem the country is facing now. As swedish writer Jonathan swift sattired " kill all poors to remove poverty ", these surface dressing measures are not going to address the problem motherland is facing, someone has to rise and address the root cause.

People..Either you guys are really stupid or you are pretending to ignore things out here.
Maoist cannot be democrats ..their acts has never proven them to be democrat. If you guys think handling regime to communists solves the underlying problems of nepal ..you guys are goddamn stupids.Talking and big slogans do not feed the hungry people(examples are all around the world).Trust me..Maoist do not believe in peace and democracy. And they never will.
Took 21 people to throw king , if you can throw maoist once they are in govt by 21000k people ..that day call all nepalese lucky people. How easily they got rid of maoist.
