How fair is it that Shaq in All star game??I have heard basketball fans being arrogant,ignorant and superlicious….now here is something to prove it.He has played five games this season and his statistics way down-hill..averaging around 12 points per game,few rebounds. So where does he fit in the category of “all star”.He might have been all- star dozen of times in the past,championship rings enough to plug all the fingers on his right hand,he might have been a glorious player(might be most superb in the basketball era),might have the most gigantic physical appearance that can scare “king kong”,might have a role of some kind on a scary-movie3 as an actor(2 min role),or could have been some kind of sheriff on Palm beach Miami..
but it’s the professional sports for god's sake!!!!!!!NBA has the international media ,global attention and sport market bound within it…so fair is that someone like Shaq(this year) who has been a bench warmer on the sideline for the whole year could be getting picked .Doesnt all star appearance mean the best of the best player of that year to compete against each other!!!!!

I hope he doenst get picked even after he retires!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree wit u Hurri... Shaq doesnt deserve to be in all star game . not even off the bench... He hasnt even played much this year...Obviously, shaq's fans r really loyal n very stupid...True basketball Fans would have never voted shaq for an all star game....Shaq just have this reputation that he build up while in LA Lakers.. Those were the best days of shaq....he hasnt been doin much since then..other than picking on Kobe n lately on PHIL JAckson...shaq..go get a life!!

I also dont like T MAC winnin ballot over NASH...i cant even compare Tmac wit NASH..nash is the total package...Tmac is a soft player n he is overrated...Just because he is Yao Ming's teammates n had travelled to China, he is gettin all this votes from China n other part of asia....i dont mind Tmac coming off the bench but starting over Steve Nash is just too much to digest...i cant believe Best player on the League Steve Nash wont be a starter in All Star game...How bout DIRK...cant believe tat shit either...but...its the Fan voting...cant complain bout it...

Agree wtih all of you. Besides, Shaq does not deserve to be an All-Star even with last-year's stats.......Its a shame that All-Star games if becoming a popularity contest rather than a match of best in West Vs. the Best in the East.....
