i have problem with internet explorer. i reset the seting and restarted still it wont work, and the real player internet also dont work. my firefox works and i tried to download internet explorer it dont download. and the other problem is i cant open system restore ,every time i click on it it doesnot do anything. please help,i am unable to update anivirus too.

try uninstalling Internet Explorer from Control Panel > Add remove Programs? Windows Programs.
If you were able to uninstall internet explorer that way... restart the computer and then install it again.
For this you might need the Windows CD.
Reply again if this doesnt work.

Looks like some process is taking too much memory to close or start.
Go to task manager and see which task is taking too much virtual memory when you start the computer and see if that process is in start up. To modify the startup options go to RUN>msconfig and there in the start up tab just uncheck all the process that you think shouldnt start when the computer is started.
Try that and if it doesnt work we will try something else.
