It makes me feel sad to see threads like this in the 21st century, where everybody looks at globalization and a borderless world. What do you have against Indians? Whether you like it or not, till this world disintegrates, Nepal will always share one border with India. You can never change that. So, isn't it sad to see educated people talking about racialism. I can just imagine what you'll teach your own children. Half the things you use in Nepal are imported from India. A large number of students study in India. An equally large number of businessmen carry out their businesses with Indian counterparts. You talk like you have some exclusive rights to live in this world. While Indians should disappear from the face of this earth. Not every Nepali hates Indians. So, please speak for yourself. And while you're at it, remember that what goes around, comes around. It's people like you who continue to feed the fire of racialsim with such negativity and racial segregation. I wonder what your mother and teachers taught you in school? And you want PEACE? How would you feel if every Americans start saying what you had told: "We hate Nepali and had have enough with them". How will you react in this statement? Moreover, how would you feel when almost all countries like UAE, EU, have now posed a strict rules and regulations to Nepali entering their country? Man, show some logic when  you initiate such racist thread. It doesn't show you are wise and generous......which was once a Nepalese motto............i guess.

Heartbeat, I hope you are not a Indian nationality. If you are then it will be worthless to convince that we as a nepali and nepal lover want sovereignty and integrity of Nepal .... The hate against Indian and Indian nationality is growing day by day most among nepalese situated in Himal and Pahad is because of the way indian politican's sees and treate us. Our corrupt leaders are the one who are dealing with these indian politician. We are afraid that one day our nation Nepal will become Bhutanise or Sikkimimse...

You are right that we have close ties with indian and do daily business with them.... It is good to have good relation with India if they treate us positive way..... What we have seen these days is that India is slowly spreading their culture, politics, economy etc. in every corner of Nepal. The example here is one of the political party MJFF who want seperate Tarai state as well as Hindi as their main language.....

Because of all these why not be hate Indian.........

You're the kind of tourist/spouse of a Nepali citizen who travel to Annapurna for 2 weeks and think you know Nepal. I'm sad to say that you don't know a shit. As you said, NOT every Nepali hates Indian but there are many Nepali who DO NOT want to be Indian puppet either like myself. All we want is Indians to stay away from our internal affairs esp politics. Does that seem to much to ask ? No, I DO NO hate Indians like seriousNepal.

I have seen many people like serious nepali who hate indians. Actually there is no reason to hate indians personally. The racist mentality never give you the peace in your life. We have to live in harmony and accord to live happily.The jealousy, anger, hatredness and desire are the root causes for the disaster in human's life.

It's a universal thing to hate the neighbor..Americans hate the Mexicans and the Canadian, English hate the Irish, Turkish hate the Kurds. No matter where you go, it is a common human mentality. I agree the hatred towards Indians was there since the beginning but the level has grown high from recent days activities. The VP swearing in Hindi has brought more distress to the people's emotion. Let us just be rational and fair. If you do not speak Nepali in Nepal, then what's the point of having a country called "Nepal"? especailly if you're a high level national figure. Alberto Gonzales, the attorney general of the US,  speaks Spanish at home, but people never heard a single word in spanish at the white house. Why do you think? There is a principle and a system to organize a country and language and currency being the top most to unify and make life easier. Need to say more?

SeriouslyNepali, I can understand what you are going thru now. Same here. Honestly, there is no reason to hate Indian becoz they are doing best what's good for their country. We all shud have the same kind of patriotism as Indian.  If you are seriously Nepali hate our own "Baraute Neetas" who runs Nepal's politics with Indian remote control. Even after 18 years of destruction they haven't learned any lesson or they don't want to learn at all.  Hate those MoFo who didn't miss a single opportunity to sell our property and sovereignty and still lead our nation more than four times thats ridiculous. you shud hate all the Nepalis who let them do that agian and agian.

Dear All, please allow me to introduce myself. My grandparents migrated to Malaysia from Sri Lanka even before the Japanese and British occupation. My parents were born here. That makes me the second generation Tamil speaking Hindu to be born here. In case you don't know, Malaysia is a multi-racial country.

I'm married to a most wonderful Newari speaking Hindu in Nepal. He loves me not because of my spoken language or because of my bloodline but because I love him, his country and his people. I know Nepal better than some of you in Sajha. I serve the poor, the needy, the deprived, the blind in Nepal.

WHO DO YOU SERVE IN NEPAL, MY SAJHA FRIENDS?

The reason why Nepal has deteriorated to this stage today is because of selfish people like some of you. Remember that whatever you give out will come back to you. Hate, and you will receive hate in return. When you fill yourself with inharmonious thoughts and emotions, you are destroying yourself. Why hate or be angry with anyone? Love your enemies! Why stew in the heat of anger?

Jealousy comes from an inferiority complex, and expresses itself through suspicion and fear. It signifies that a person is afraid he cannot hold his own in his relationship with others. Improve yourself; develop yourself. Wrath and hatred accomplish nothing. Love rewards. You may cow down somebody, but once that person has risen again, he will try to destroy you. Then how have you conquered him? You have not.

The only way to conquer is by love. And where you cannot conquer, just be silent or get away, and pray for him. That is the way you must love. If you practice this in your life, you will have peace beyond understanding.

Take away India, China, Europe, America, Canada, France, UK and every foreigner from Nepal and you will have a country that's 100 years behind time. The worst kind of sin is INGRATITUDE.
