Thesedays women seem to be separated into two groups. One that celebrate teej and one that dont. In the days of equality of men and women, it seems weird that women still praying to god for their spouse and single girls for their man. I have been invited to few teej parties but I don't think I will attend because it seems a little awkward for me to practice those age old customs. It may seem justified in a male dominated society but comon girls we don't have to do that no more!

 
 Oh i am fasting on that date. Don't ask me why. 

Teej and party?? I thought Teej was for fasting..
If for partying by all means it should be good..be it Teej or no Teej. I am sure it involves a lot of fun (dirty jokes included,,if no male strippers). I am not sure if it is done the same age old way anymore, except for perhaps red sari and showing off of tons of expensive jewellery..

But  if it is Teej "Party" why should anyone not be up for it?

1. Afno culture ko lagi ( jogai rackna but with different thought -  Brata basni tara afno bhalo hos bhanera afnu sukkha santi ko lagi bhagawan prati samarpan huna ko lagi  )
2. Fasting kahile kahin garnu ramro manincha   . Barsa ko ek din fasting garera ek chack bachha ni   ki kaso ????

There is nothing wrong with celebrating teej. I never fast. I meet up with friends ans we sing and dance. Welcome to my style of teej. If someone wants to fast that is their choice.

Parampara ta ho ra dhannu ni parcha tara afu mari mari ke ko parampara bhannus ta..... aama haru ta basnuhuncha brata mero pani tara malai nasaki nasaki pani pani piyikana baseko brata le ke dharma hola ra bhanne justo lagcha bhanya......
