What a game!!!! Portugal Vs Netherlands.
Very poor refreeing.

Probably the most exciting game so far.

I am glad Portugal went in.

What a game between Portugal and Netherlands. The game was marred by 16 bookings with 4 red cards. The charged game once again between this great rivalry and it has happened again for the Oranje Boys. Disappointing finish after a great run coming through the world cup. That stupid Figo, the greatest born Portuguese player, but today he showed that he is a fiasco of overacting. Portogal played rough from the get go, hammering dutch players like a puppet playing a dolly game of football. Portugal played very rough and Fifa should look into some of the attacks that the Dutch players took in this game. For example, Figo Head butting should have earned him a Red instead the referee just showed him yellow where any other player would have earne da straight red. His over acting on Boularouz knee was too much to take. A player studs hitting Robben was another incident and I think some of the Holland player's conduct should also be looked into. And I think at the end, Holland lost their cool too. I feel for Marco Van Basten because after this, he is going to come to a media frenzy of attacks. The guys deserves praises for what he has done to the team, and today his decision to not play Nistelrooy is certainly going to earn him a lot of controversy. My Oranje Boys lost again in a very sad encounter. Could not believe that the Dutch lost, but they showed a lot of hearts and character in this great encounter that will be remembered in days to come. I am very disappointed and probably have abandoned watching this World Cup. I am for no team and now hope that England take the trophy. Good luck!

I am england fan. But the way they have played so far including sweet sixteen round is not very impressive .Yet england is in to quarterfinals .I think luck is on england's side this time . Now they should thrash portugal because most important play maker DECO is out so is COSTINHA .....and the injury to C.RONALDO doesnt look good .

This was an ill-tempered and rough game between Portugal and Holland. However, I am glad to see my second favourites Portugal are through. Deco and Costinha earned some stupid yellow cards which turned into red. Even Figo might be looked into by Fifa and banned for the next game, and C.Ronaldo has an injury. They look a weak team without these players. England seem lucky.

Van Basten made a mistake not to bring Van Nistelroy into the pitch, also Dutch could not take the numerical advantage most of the time.

Anyway, I will cheer for Portugal against England on Saturday.
