Mark my word, Prachanda will be assassinated by none other than his own Maoist party cadres. From his recent comments about his party's ideology being nothing similar to that of chairman Mao or Lenin, it is clear that he is nothing but a power hungry SOB. I am sure it was and is starting to be realized within his own party as well. That is probably why Baburam wanted out few months ago and hey whatever happened to the main military logistic brain behind the PLA, comrade Badal??? Prachanda probably feared a coup against him from his own party and that is why he decided to go public. If not for the fear and power greed there is no way he would come out public under these circumstances considering monarchy and SPA were in a total destruction mode and would have finished each other off leaving only other alternative as the Maoist and giving them the most easy access towards their goal. However, opportunist such as Prachanda and others have used this moment to get their share of the power chair and an easy way out (because underground jungle life is fun for only so much... I guess), but what they have failed the realize is that the guns they gave and the brains they washed to have young mind be totally manipulated for their fake and worthless ideology will come down hunting for their own heads one day if they didn't lived up to the promises. After all this has taken place, Nepal will either be part of India or will be ruled by military generals like in Pakistan and many other African countries. I mean what other alternative will be left?? Don't see any....enlighten me know if you do.

I think all sensible Nepalese are saying the same thing..but Maoists would not listen to their own Nepalese people... But when USA says so they will heed. That's teh biggest problem with our Leaders!!!!! US not to support the interim govt. until Maoists renounce violence The United States’ ambassador to Nepal, James F. Moriarty, has said the US won’t support an interim government in Nepal—including the Maoists—unless the latter renounce violence. James F. Moriarty (File Photo) Addressing a function organized by the Rotary Club of Dillibazar in the Nepali capital on Wednesday, the US envoy said CPN (Maoist) was still recognized by US law as a terrorist organization and that the US couldn’t provide material support to a terrorist organization. “We do believe that they (the Maoists) have to change their action before we could provide assistance to the Maoists in any way or to a government, which they will be part of,†he added. “The question is-- Are the people of Nepal ready fro a government that includes Maoists – that has an armed faction—within their government. Do the people of Nepal feel that it is correct for Maoists to retain the option of violence as peace process goes forward?†he asked. Moriarty also blamed the Maoists of not showing the good faith the new government of Nepal was showing towards them. “Until the Maoists bring their conduct in line with standards of mainstream political parties in multiparty democracies, it would be premature to declare that peace is already at hand,†he added. “I am concerned by the continued gap between Maoist commitments and Maoist actions. Kidnapping, extortion, intimidation, and murder are not tools for mainstream democratic political parties—which the Maoists claim they are becoming,†said Moriarty. “The political parties have worked hard in recent weeks, without resorting to intimidation, to bring about a new political order that will benefit all Nepalis. The Maoists need to show the same spirit of cooperation and compromise,†he added. Moriarty further said the US saluted Nepali people’s courage and resilience and looked at ways it could help the people of Nepal as they further strengthen democracy and strengthen the momentum for peace. nepalnews.com by June 28 06

IT doesn'T matter if we declare ourselves "Secular" nation or not, Nepal was and will always be land blessed by Pashupati Nath. So, in this land of god and goddess everyone will get what they deserve. King right now is getting what he deserved because he had once in a lifetime opportunity to pull the country together and gain the trust of people but his failed actions lead him to where he is now. Same with SPA as they are getting what they deserved. Since, after the 1990 movement they couldn't and wouldn't work with each (considering every major political party went through an internal split) nor could they work other political parties. So, SPA now are having to work with the terrorist party who are backed by heavy arm and ammunition that could end up destroying SPA altogether if their demands aren't met. And finally we have the Maoists who are starting to get what they deserve. Prachanda and top Maoist leadership fears coup against them from their own party as well as international agencies. So, when it's all said and done the terrorist tactic Prachanda used to come to power will ultimately end up costing his life....which will be exactly what he and few other top Maoist leadership deserves. HAVE NO DOUBTS! ष्री पशुपतिनाथ ले हामी सबको भलो गरुन

what goes around comes around in the same life, Since Maoist leader prachanda has killed thousands of people to satify his power hunger.i have no doubt in my mind he would be killed no matter how much his cadres try to protect him.His fate is to die like a dog!!for all the evil deeds.

To IMI, Karmarana, memyselfandnepal, Amrit Joshi, ......: I got only one thing to ask you guys for: Monarchy has been exploiting us for more than 237 years and is the symbol of all those feudal practices in Nepal. So, let's crush it first. if you don't crush monarchy now, you will never be able to crush it and it will continue sucking our sweat and blood forever. But, these Maoists already said that they want to join peaceful multiparty politics. Millions of people across the country trusted on them so they came to the street to make the the Janaandolan II successful without caring the king's boots and bullets. Maoists can not come to the power since most of the politicians and countrymen are intact in their politics and even if they come to power, there is no way that Maoists will deprive us from our rights and development. Otherwise, those millions of trustees will rebel against them and also international communities will sactions against them with the consequence: falling of their government within 1 year. So, Maoists will not and can not be autocratic like the king. If they try to impose hardline communism, we can abolish their system any time before they get institutionalized in Nepal . So, let's join hand now to abolish world's most curel and sucker monarchy first, and all those hardliner communists after that if we need to.
