Someone recently asked me what kind of men that I like
Of the Nepali men that I've dated, are friends or were in my family or in my community, I made a list of qualities that I like:
My ideal man is someone with a sense of humor. Is educated. Well-read. Decently travelled. He shoud be stable. No lazies or crazies, please. Should have good family values. Good upbringing. Being established in his career is important. Shouldn't be too narrow-minded. Should have a personality. Should know how to laugh. Should know how to respect the old and love the young.
He doesn't need to look like Rajesh Hamal or Shiva Shrestha, but he needs to stay physically active.
Shouldn't be crude, crass or immature. Those are such turn-offs. No pakhe types who don't know how to behave around educated ladies, please. Those men are best being conductors of buses and riding rickshaws around Ratna park.
Bonus points: If he is a musician, an artist. Especially if he will paint my picture or write me a poem or a song. Oh, I will be yours for ever. LOL. Maybe.
