sorry guys, but " Ras Gulla" always cracks me up, I can't help laughing whenever I hear that someone wants ras gulla for dessert, gulla sounds so vulgar but when you add ras to it, becomes mouth watering...ha...ha..ha..I'll just stick to "lindt" dark choclate.

For those of you who are challenged with culinary skills for nepali food, there's a book out there which might be helpful. I picked my copy at a bookstore in Bhotahiti when i visited there couple of years ago. Its in Nepali. " Dipti Rana's Delicious Family Dishes"

Tori is mustard, so look for mustard seed oil in indian stores. They generally keep it. I picked one by "SWAD" brand. If you haven't used before, also try "Sesame Oil", certain food tastes very good cooked on sesame oil and is similar to our taste. good luck.

Hey Preeti Rana, how is this "opor ayaam : indonesian dish", I go to Malaysian Restaurant called "Penang" all the time, just wondering if it is any similar to Indonesian. "Penang" is a restaurant chain and is in several major cities. I recommend this place.

Maha-Sakti: Trial and Error is the best way to learn. Make something in small quantity....taste it....see what's missing....correct your problem....try it again.....after some time you are the best cook out there. Lady Croft: Guys and Khasi? Never thought about that before. May be because unmarried guys call each other bokas and Khasi is something exotic for them. OMG. Ghas Katne scared you???? you must be so young?
