Welcome to Nepali NFL 2006, the Playoff match between the players who competed in the regular season (under Are you ready for some football thread) and managed to be one of the TOP 14 Teams!!!

This is the Playoff and 14 top teams qualify (names and Tie sheet to come soon)

Rules
1. Each player should predict winner and loser and also the final points.
2. The player who correctly predicts the winner wins the matchup. If both players predict same winner, final points will be compared.
3. Differential* will be used to find out whose prediction was closest, point wise. Player with lowest differential wins the match-up.
4. If both winner/loser and points are tied then the player who had predicted first will win the matchup.


*Differntial = |(predicted winning points-actual winning points)| + |(predicted losing points - actual losing points)| .

That's it!!! So let the predicting game start.

Hey I-kanchi.. i ain't sayin Broncos was bad. I think they are pretty good team and they do deserve to win. I am just saying that Patriots made too many mistakes. I didn't say Patriots was better than Broncos... i was just saying Patriots didnt play their usual offensive game. And I didn't like the "Passing Interference Call" which gave the Broncos 7-3 lead. Do you think that was the right call? But I know win is a win.
As a Football fan..I want a fair game and we all know how a single play makes a big difference in the game. Anyways... Broncos defence and Special Teams played pretty good game.
As for the Steelers, that last interception was robbed by the officials. I wonder how that was not an interception. But the Steelers won and they did played a pretty good game and that call didnt make a big difference.
I think this will be the year for Carolina and Pittsburgh. Both teams are playing extremely well. I'll go for Pittsburgh. Ward and Bettis .. two big offensive play makers.
Can't wait for the next weekend.

Denver Broncos has the fatest LB's in the NFL, and the best secondary against any pass action plays that anyone would perform. Just like last week... Tom Brady is (was) considered the best QB against blitz, but he could not survive the Bronco Blitz. Ben is a sophmore, his passes aren't going to be as effective as the regular season. Again it was Pitts Defense that gave them the game, but their rush defense is not as effective even as the NE's which had Seymour, Bruschi, et al. Denver Rush Offense is ranked second in the league adn 5th overall. As long as Jake is out of the pocket, Steels' defense is futile in the secondary and LB, because all they can do it rush against Jake when he is ready to throw deep to Lillie or short to his TE's. Denver will win 4 turnovers and convert two of them. Pittsburg Offense will reach the end zone twice but will only get 1 TD, 1FG(both in the 3rd Qtr). They won't score anymore. Denver 2 takeaways will yield 7-3=10 (both in the 2nd Qtr) points and other 6 comes from Elam's FG (34 yards in teh 2nd Qtr and 38 yards in the 4th). End of 1st: 0-0, 2nd:10-0; 3rd:10-10;The final score Broncos wins the AFC by 16-10.

info: the bookies favors denver by 9 points or more. so, i think the steelers are the underdogs on the road against the best rush defense and the fastest line backers and secondary. firewalled..........................

Ok guys ..here is the reality......Broncos and Panthers will go to the superbowl 40..without a doubt!!!

Even though Steelers and Broncos are exactly an identical team , Denver will top Steelers and go on to the Superbowl..

Carolina has the best Playmaker in the league, Steve Smith, i m sure he will do his part and Carolina's D will do theirs..... Hasselebeck had a great game last week but he wont be having another one till next year or so....

well it kindda sucked that my ravens laid egg this year again.. and steelers are in the finals again... wel i shouldn't be too upset cause it actually gave me something to watch for. whoever plays steelers, i'll go with them... i hope ben hamburger gets hurt and joey porter breaks his back... other than that i hope somebody kicks their ass like the ravens did...
oh and i didn't know there was NFL team called hawks either... and whats with everyone jumping on the panther's B'wagon all of a sudden with just one game... steve smiths good no kiddin... hell how 'bout mvp of the year alexander the great... hes had a great season as well... they both have decent qbs so i think who ever shows up has a pretty good chance... i just think seahawk have a lil more weapon on offense than carolina with their 2nd back hurt again...
i wanna see seatle and denver maybe?? oh well i wouldn't be too surprised if its the other teams gettin there as i have been wrong the whole season with my prediction.....

theres always next year i guess.. so lets go ravens... get steve mcnair..... or somebody vetran....not vinny.. oh no sir...
