Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Overall responsibility is for participating in the development life cycle for the development and design of Java applications, and the construction and testing of Java applications.

Responsibilities:

Develop java applications aligned with the overarching architectural approach and platform being used
Use a functional familiarity with Java/J2EE frameworks to preform development, testing, and troubleshooting
Adhere to and maintains development standards and best practices
Function as a team player with good communication skills in order to support other business areas
Qualifications

Functional knowledge of, and experience with J2EE and Spring
Hands on experience with Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server
Knowledge of Agile methodology for software development
Understanding of the software development life cycle
Experience developing integration solutions with Java
Education and Experience

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required.
