Poorer the state and people, the more obese they are. It’s hard to find fat people in rich neighborhood and cities. As People in Nepal always say ‘ kasto moto vayexa’, ‘kati motaako’ that in US means you are broke and poor asf.

Although I too live in a Obese state, but whenever I went to places in California and New York for holidays, it was very hard to see any obese people. Those living under the bridges ( Homeless ) looked more fat मोटो than the one’s living in Skyscrapers and driving BMW’s.

In poor states, rich people are think and fat as well. I agree that is ironical when we compare Nepal and United states. When we look at poor people here they are generally fat, but in nepal poor people are generally lean and thin and looks like they have not ate for ages. Its all culture. Here even the poor people can afford car and live off of fast food. These fast food are the reason why people are fat. I have a question for you readers, would the look of a person defines his social status? I have worked with the the rich guys who are fat. I have worked with the poor people who are thin. At some point it all boils down to the personal choice and personal lifestyle. I can be fat and rich, and i can be skinny and poor. Its how people carry themselves, that mattes the most.

It’s called exception, but if we talk in general comparing obesity rates or states with thinnest people. Rich or poor definitely matters in US. Rich people barely eat fast foods, they also exercise regularly and travel alot. That could be the reason.
