Any Nepali core IT professional with 6-10 yrs of exp in the following field.Needed for gov agency to work on mission critical project.It is direct hiring for permanent position with Salary around $100K-$120K/year ( may go higher if quilified )with all the benifit/Pension as per the US state gov regulation.

You will have to clear the DOI ( department of investigation ) for this post.Would be happy if any Nepali joins.


1. Senior Unix system administration/Manger with 6-10 yrs of exp
Requirement
Unix ( Soalris )advance admin with Networking
Veritas Volume Manager
Veritas Cluster
Veritas Netbackup
Veritas volume Replicator
iPlanet web services/BEA Weblogic/WebShere admin
Brocade SAN will be Plus
Storage,EMC,HITACHI,SUN etc
Good knowledge of Scripting

Should be able to handle the project independently within short
time.

2. Senior Oralce DBA /Manager with 6-10 yrs of exp

Requirement

Oracle 8.x,9.x,10.x with RAC and good exposure to unix( solaris).
Should be able to handle the project independently within week.

For all the above position, Bachelor/Master in computer engineering prefered with vendor certificate.

Ya forget to add some programing languages, Java, C++. If you need a C++ programmer, don't forget to post vacancies, here are bunch of Nepalese programers. I have a month experience in testing.

This is absolute requirement for unix/DBA admin where I am working and I am directly involved in project.

Let me ask my peer portal manager where they do lot of java, C++ programing and testing.If I get any req from internal source, I would be happy to send you guys the req and have fellow Nepali brethren working together.

An appropriate title of this thread should be:

Senior Unix System Admin and Senior Oracle DBA with 6+ yrs

And perhaps the description should be labeled as 'core requirements' as opposed to 'core IT' in the title. System admin and DBA positions are support roles and can differ vastly in number of users/applications they support.

Sure, I've worked with most of them but am a J2EE developer and I don't write scripts any more.. I use Maven...
