Prachanda giving plain interview in Hindi with BBC Hindi service! I thought he did good job by giving interview in NEPALI in BBC English couple of months back though the reason now appears entirely due to his lack of knowledge in English, but not due to love with Nepali. I have listened an interview with a great Indian musician who refused to give his interview in Hindi and spoke in English in the same BBC Hindi service couple of years back (though to me that appeared like a little bit of hypocrisy since he is composing and singing Hindi songs, I forget his name, he gave music for movies like Dil Se, sang 'Bande Mataram' and so forth super hit movies). His mother tong is Tamil, not Hindi.

Its a SHAME that so-called revolutionary leader started talking in Hindi... that too in Nepalese accent....even if he was a fluent speaker it would be ok.. Learn English or get a translator....... simple!

All our leaders sleeps indian,talks indian, serves indian.Simple .why maoist be any exception.Afterall they are all brothers.

I have never been a Prachanda fan and personally, I think he needs to be prosecuted for his direct involvement in the death of so many innocent people in the last decade.

However, I don't see any problem here, heck if he can give interviews in French, English, Dutch, Maithili, Bhojpuri etc, more power to him. His target audience were Indians and he spoke in Hindi, whats the big deal?. If he was in France and knew any French, I am sure we wouldn't mind him interviewing in that language.

That asss8Hole knows he will never be a head of the state of Nepal.. so he doesn't feel that he should be giving interviews in Nepali language.

Putin of Russia is damn fluent in english.. but at high level talks he always use russian language to talk and let his interpreter to translate it. So are other top brass leaders of other countries.. but this prachande ass8oles.. what can you guys expect fro him.. he is idiot and stpid.. afteral he is a puupet of India and Gyane. actually Gyane is also a puupet of India.

Prachande will dearly pay the price ... he will be remembered as fuc*king ass*hole in the history of Nepal.
