I think sox’s got something going on this year…and yeah…it’s true that they didn’t win a world series for 80 some years until 2004…but they won rite??? That’s what matters I guess… And besides almost 4 million people showed on the streets of Boston during the parade which simply shows how much people love the Sox…I bet that’s one of the biggest parade that’s ever been held...GO SOX…

Pedro's alive but not as lethal as his BoSux days. He's still in the rehab process scheduled back in Aug... once playoffs come around, you know the true veterans shine. Yeah, the Mets are in a BIG slump right now but I expect them to come outta it like they've always done.

A family of New York Yankee fans headed out one Saturday to shop for the youngest boy's birthday.

While in the sports shop the son picks up a Red Sox jersey and says to his older sister, "I've decided to become a Red Sox fan and I would like this Boston Red Sox jersey for my birthday."

His big sister is outraged by this and promptly whacks him upside his head and says, "Go talk to mother."

Off goes the little lad with the jersey in hand and finds his mother. "Mom?"

"Yes, son?"

"I've decided I'm going to be a Red Sox fan and I would like this jersey for

my birthday."

The mother is outraged at this, promptly whacks him around the head and says, "Go talk to your father!"

Off he goes with the Red Sox jersey in hand and finds his father. "Dad?"

"Yes, son?"

"I've decided I'm going to be a Red Sox fan and I would like this jersey for

my birthday."

The father is outraged and promptly whacks his son in the back of his head and says, "No son of mine is ever going to be seen in THAT!"

About half an hour later they're all back in the car and heading towards home. The father turns to his son and says "Son, I hope you've learned something today?"

"Good! And what is it you learned?"

The son replies, "I've only been a Red Sox fan for an hour and I already hate you Yankee bastards!"

regarding biggest payroll, Yankees play by the rule ... too bad you guys don't like it... the best for non Yankees fans is to go to Home Games and buy merchandise of your teams and MAY BE you guys will be able to afford good players who demand good money

iTs, certainly way below tennis, NFL, EPL, NBA and cricket in my priority list, i dont even know who won MLB last season

But do not underestimate Yankees. If you know baseball then you should know Yankees too. You're not even halfway through the season and you've already predicted downfall of Yankees. I feel sorry for you. Remember that Yankees will make it throught o playoff this season too, like every other sweason. But BoSox are going great too. I like BoSox as well. But you never know what happens in Baseball. Right now I see Bosox and LA Angels going for a playoff, and it may not sound good for Angeles Fan. But if Yankees are to play the Angeles, then its damn sure Angeles will march foreward.

So I want Yankees to face the Angeles in playoff not BoSox. And we'll see....

Damn Angels, Yankees would have 28 championships if it was not Angels :=) I know Angels got the Yankees no last 5-6 years.... Yankees will be able to beat them in 7 games series, I am not sure about first round :s

some people ar too immature for baseball. Infact Yankees and BoSox rivalry is something to watch for. They make each game exciting and everyone is invloved, even the fans, and also those who dunno anything about baseball..
I am pretty sure of Yankees making through the Playoffs, not ruling out wild card entry either, and guess what Yankees will beat BoSox in AL Champoinship and will go to the World Series like they used to do quite often.

Now this is getting exciting aint it??? All we can do is sit back relax and just predict what’s gonna happen in future rite??? I just love the environment in Boston when there’s a game going on…esp at Fenway park…it just keeps everyone involved…Playoff??? I aint even going there man…and matter of fact…Yankees have good players and they win almost every year…that’s not fun at all dawg…I kinda go crazy when some other team kick the shit out of Yankees dude…esp when it’s Boston…
