BUDDHA HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH NEPAL OR INDIA OR ANY PLACE. ITS GOOD SOMEBODY FROM INDIA IS GIVING IMPORTANCE TO BUDDHA....OTHERWISE WHO IN THE WORLD WOULD KNOW ABOUT HIM. LOOK AT NEPAL AND NEPALESE .....WHO CARES ABOUT US NOT EVEN OURSELVES.....

WHEN PEOPLE WERE BEING KILLED IN LUMBINI DID ANY ONE CARE.......NO.

LIVING IN DARKNESS, STILL HAPPY.........PEOPLE DYING IN STREET ,STILL HAPPY.......PEOPLE ABROAD, VERY HAPPY.......MIGHT EVEN SAY I AM NOT NEPALI.....WHO KNOWS????????

dear sujitcha,
i beg to differ!!
i agree whatever is happenin in our nation..("LIVING IN DARKNESS", .."PEOPLE DYING IN STREET", "PEOPLE ABROAD") shouldnt be happening but we cannot be forgetting history..
Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautam Buddha is our pride..how can we just let it go ?
What they said in the movie wasn't a right thing to say when they didnt even have any proof that Buddha was born in India!!
Wrong is wrong afterall..
And BTW, everybody in the world already knows about Buddha..any stupid hindi movie need not make him famous worlwide..atleast i havent seen or heard of anybody who knew about buddha only after watching the movie!!

Fighting and Bickering about Buddha's birth place is very much against all of Buddha's priciples.  Nepal has a lot bigger problems facing it now than to be bitching and moaning about where this Dude as born more than a 1000 yrs ago.
