Hi everybody,i m new to USA so i dont know much abt here.I wanted to know how much can we students earn per year.So guys share me abt your experinece.Just say me rough figure of how much do u earn per year so that i can know abt it..Thanx in advance..

Normally, you earn anywhere between 10 and 20 grand a year as a full time student (working 20 hrs a week during school season and 40 during summer months).

Last year I got 90k gross, now down to 32K, life is upside down, crazy and in frustration.

Earning is directly proportional to hours you get to work.

Earning is not that important in USA...the more you get to work...the more you make...I think saving is more important than earning...

I am a Grad Student and the University pays me 26K a year.

A 6 figure salary by a student seems unbelievabe.I dont think its possible for any student working and studying here.So plz share a believable figures..sun4u ji tapai le sajha lai aafu justai gafadiko akhada thannu bhayeko chha ki kya ho??

As a student, you are allowed to work 20 hours per week on-campus.  So, at around $8.50/hr pre-tax you can calculate how much you can bring in per week/month/year.

During the summer, you can work as many hours as you can, but only on-campus.  But lot of students do work outside, at OC for eg., long hours and do make as much as $10K during the summer.  The latter is frowned upon by the authorities and can cause legal problems.  You have to weigh the risk vs. reward/need.
