V2001: mine got stolen too, but i bought another shortly after. buy a used one on craigslist bro, it'll be fun.

28th: i'm talking about working your butt off on your way uphill and riding downhill on a foot wide steep path without falling over and/or cracking your nuts while jumping over some minor obstacles. not sure if that's real or cruising like a homeless though.

nepali, that is some nice downhill biking.
xenon, yeah...i've heard that Terry Hershey park has some nice trails. I'll probably go there this weekend or the next; I'm planning on checking out the Jack Brooks Park trail first. If you still ride and want to go, let's do it!
anyone else in Houston want to try one of these trails this weekend? let me know.

After riding on the Terry Hershey Park - Anthills, Pasadena - Armand Bayou, Houston Arboretum - Triangle, and all of the Memorial Park trails, I've came to know that trails in Houston suck big time. There's nothing fun except occaisional dips and raises. Tons of annoying roots sticking out try to entangle you, but the turns are admirable though.
Summary: mountain biking cannot be enjoyed in this place as flat as a roti.

Anyone want to go to Austin for some adventure riding sometime soon?
