It's great that people are promoting traditional musical instrument like Murchunga, Binayo and Paluwa Baja. This Paluwa Baja (we called it Pipiri) is simply a leaf (paluwa) that brings out music through vibration when placed before you lip and air blown from inside out. I have listened to this music in so many occassion - mela pat, gai charan, trekking etc. It's sad to say that I could not practice well to play it myself. Does anyone have any idea which geographical region it belongs? I claim it from Gandaki zone.
