I don’t remember the exact date but the very first time I logged in sajha.com was sometimes in May 2008, and now I am really addicted to it..  I hope there is no nicotine or caffeine mixed with the contents of sajha…

 

Back in May’08,  I used to log in hardly once a day, but these days I log in about at least 5-6 times a day, its getting really hard for me at work coz I have already been busted so many times browsing sajha.com which obviously is not impressive to managers. Kehi naya thread aayo ki bhanera 5-5 minutes ma refresh garna man lakchha…

 

I am a regular reader rather than a commentator, I like reading threads posted by so many users including but not limited to :Amazing, MadDoGG, ek@l, Narayan, deep, dipika02,sahayog,fortunefaded, amricane, AAAA, fucheketo, serial, samsara, latoboy, OcRam, girly and so many others…..keep on posting guys..

 

The fact is, I was supposed to take this one certification exam two months ago, and I have already deferred it 3 times coz I was so busy logging in sajha, I honestly don’t want to defer it for the 4^th time and funny thing is that I think I forgot most of the things that I studied before May 2008

 

I even tried blocking sajha.com from being displayed on my computer but you know what you do when you have the key to unblock, so that did not work either..

 

Jaad, churot, raksi kehi maa nalaageko nasha sabai ekai choti malai sajha.com ma laageko cha J.. is it only me or is this true for most of you?

The good thing that came out of this is I got to know so many new friends in sajha and I am glad to have them as new friends…

Pls drop your views and suggestions if you are in the same situation, and what did you do to get rid of this addiction, and were you successful to quit? I guess not, coz if you were successful then you would not have been reading this posting .. hahaha

For me Sajha.com is like necessary evil. I also log on many times and every time I just get dissapointed, but thats not going to stop me from doing the same next day and so on.

I have member since last 6-7 years and been witness of the evolution of Sajha. I am happy that there seems to be various kinds of posting and many young members. but I also miss the old days of sajha where there used to be more meaningful discussions and debates.

I do not know if it addictive or not but I have been to this site continuously since sometime in 2005.

I am into sajha since 2005....  as a  reader initiallly...

later on i started commenting...

than i started writing a few.. mainly humor and sport

but now.. i cannot live without a good dose of sajha

long many years ago there was soc.culture.nepal and that was addictive as well.

actually before that there was TND (the Nepal Digest) which was worth the wait every month or so.

and others that have faded into history are the chats in nepalsearch.com, some blog like feature hosted by sohos.net out of Nebraska (don't remember the name now... about 1999-2000).

gbnc.org, the mother of sajha.com, was started in 1998 Aug/Sep as a forum for Boston tira_ko_haal_khabar.

Anything interactive, relevant, meaningful and of perceived positive-value is addictive. As much as khoppi was addictive in nepal school days.

Deep ko katha (the first storyteller of Sajha.com) remains addictive.

I would not say addictive but influenced if you will. From somewhere i came to know about this site like last summer and started being a part of it. It has been helpful in a lot of ways to get connected to our nepalese people all around the world, and share things that are in common.
