The role of Bahuns in the new Nepal is no different than that of Chettris, Newars, Madesis, SETAMAUGRALIs, Tharus and others : namely, to take charge and lead. We are all responsible for our destiny and everyone - regardless or caste or creed - needs to do their bit by participating in the political process and contributing to it in ways they can. Those who speak up and vote will be the ones to have their voices heard the most and will be able to shape the future direction of the country to the extent that it is possible for any citizen to do so.

I dont see a role for one group that will be very different from the role of another.

What a hypocracy! For all these years these bahuns are discriminating against all other people in Nepal. By making a systems of caste and racism, and putting themselves on top of the system, these bahuns ruled over the people of other races and other caste for ages, and you call me racist.
The thread was opened to highlight what bahuns shouldn't do, so that the new nepal can get better. For all the things that bahuns have been doing, if they stop doing those things then Nepal can get better. For instance, as the fellow sajha friend said Bahuns shouldn't get involve in politics but rather stick to traditional pujapaath. There are lots of other things that if bahuns don't do, then Nepal could prosper.

(1)Give up all National Crimes and Corruption and return all national properties to Nepal Corruption Investigation Authority.

(2)Give up all deep rooted racial discrimination from Education, Government Employment, Governmental, Political and Social systems.

(3)Be Good, Be honest, be patriotic, be fair, Be Responsible, Be accountable, be Nationalist and be faithful to Nepal and other Nepalese race and native people.

Otherwise..... Bahuns and Chettirs will leave mother land Nepal soon....
