I don't go there but I can give out few pointers based on what I've heard. Please don't quote me on this.

1. They give CPT right away. Most people join  to save their status.
2. They are expensive indeed.
3. I don't think you can give any financial assistance or scholarship.
4. This school is for profit, period! After to graduate get ready for people to raise eyebrows looking at your grad school in your resume.

One question, why you want to go to University of Northern Virginia for your grad school? I'd recommend you go to a better school and take time to prepare for grad school and take GRE so you get into a better school with full funding.

If it's totally to save your status then I have nothing to say beside good luck.

PS: Although it does not matter which school you go to as long as you are confident about what you want to achieve in life. Educational experience is something to compliment to your passion.

Happy thanksgiving!

Having gone to the same school, I have no complaints so far. The school suited my need. Happy about academics so far. School is a little expensive. But if you really serious about your academics, you would rather want to try Ivy Leagues. Else, who gives a rat's ass about which state universities you graduated from?

I am a 2009 UNVA graduate. If you are looking for CPT work permit to be able to work and get a degree @ the same time, I think it is the best option. They have some of the highest employment and H1b approval rate mainly in IT field among CPT students.

BTW i never had to face a raised eyebrow because of UNVA in my resume, Its all about how u present urself in the interview. If you have a poor communication skills even a degree from Harvard is not going to help.

Best of Luck!!
