जलेश्वरमा अर्धनग्न जुलुस प्रर्दशन



काठमाडाैं, असाेज २२ । संघीय मधेशी मोर्चाले शुक्रबार महोत्तरीको जलेश्वरमा अर्धनग्न जुलुस प्रर्दशन गरेकाे छ ।


जलेश्वरस्थित शंकर चोकबाट शुरु भएको नेपाल सद्‌भावना पार्टी सम्मीलित अर्धनग्न जुलुस जलेश्वर नगरको विभिन्न भागको परिक्रमा गरेकाे थियाे ।

अर्धनग्न जुलुसमा सहभागि नेता कार्यकर्ताहरुले ‘नै देवे मधेस प्रदेश नै रहतौ नेपाल देश’ मधेसी एकता जिन्दावाद, विर सहिद अमर रहुन्, मधेसीको माग पुरा गर, नेपालको संविधान २०७२ मान्दैनौ लगायतका चर्का नारावाजी गरेका थिए ।

जुलुस जिल्ला शिक्षा कार्यालय अगाडी पुगेर कोण सभामा परिणत भएको थियो । कोण सभामा बोल्ने अधिकांस वक्ता नेताले मधेसको माग तत्काल पुरा गरेर समस्याको सामाधान निकाल्नुपर्ने माग गरेका थिए ।

लामो समयदेखि जारी बन्द र १६ दिनदेखि जारी नाकाबन्दीले जनजीवन आक्रान्त बन्दै गएपनि प्रमुख तीन दलका शीर्ष नेताहरुले मधेश आन्दोलन र माग सम्बोधन गर्न अझैं अग्रसर नभएको भन्दै व्यंगात्मक रुपमा अर्धनग्न  जुलुस प्रर्दशन गरिएको मोर्चाले  जनाएकाे छ ।

अग्रगामी संविधान बनाईएको दाबी प्रमुख तीनदलले गरेपनि मोर्चाले अन्तरीम संविधान २०६३ र विगतमा मधेससँग गरिएको सम्झौताको कार्यान्वयन नगरी विभेद कायम राखेको तथा मधेशको माग सम्बोधन नगरेको भन्दै जिल्लामा विरोधका शैली दिनेपिच्छे फेर्ने गरेको छ।

मोर्चाले करिब दुई महिनाको अबधिमा सदरमुकाम  जलेश्वर,मटिहानी ,बलवा, रामगोपालपुर, गौशाला, सम्सी लगायतमा दिनहुँ प्रर्दशन गर्दै आएको छ ।

@GwachAquarian - I agree with your satire. At the same time it is an obvious dark humor of the madhesi movement.

Madhesi culture will take a long time, just to be in parity with Pahadi culture merely because of cultural backwardness when it comes to women and their caste system. Which is a joke because Pahadi culture is in no way a role model of progress; obviously way behind when it comes to women rights and caste inclusiveness. A good question to ask the Madhesi Netas (as I come from Madhesh and have seen this closely) - how many of them married without taking a dowry? How many madhesi netas have their son got married to a rich farmer's daughter in Bihar? (Clue: Many). How many Yadav Netas have married a Mandal? How many Madhesi Tripathi Neta's daughters are married to a Santal?

Why I am saying this? Caste system and women inclusion is a persistent challenge for all of us, the country as a whole; however madhesi culture, in particular, needs immediate reform, don't know how, but if they want to be part of a dynamic society. There will continue to be differences in these 2 sub cultures because of that. I guess.

Like I always said, Bihar and UP are cancer (not the whole state but the majority maligned sub-cultural pretexts that breed savage aristocracy). How do we go about treating this cancer? It's not in our vital organs but, say, it's the cancer of the feet (analogy to a human body). You can cut your feet but still it is part of your body.

a case in point: the dowry culture in madhesh is very pervasive. But madhesh is poor. So 'dowry' in that context doesn't always have to be an example where a Tripathi Doctor from Madar, Siraha is asking a Rajpoot's daughter in Motihari, Bihar for 45 Lakhs भारु . My good friend Dilua who is a ricksaw driver asked for a radio and a bicycle when he married. Because he was a ricksaw driver in Lahan, a hot-bed commercial town compared to Hardiya.
