Sheetlab Ji, thank you! Please keep your view and protect it. It will make your life happy because it is a right view. However, if by any chance you like someone who had done mistake in her past forgive her/him... make a discussion seeing the quality of the person at present.... This is also a right view. Buddha Said: खन्ति परमं तपो तितिक्खा = Forgiveness is the greatest meditation ever which is also called tolerance. Sotantratagami Ji, your guess is right :), I am happy that you liked it. Lets respect to everyone, people do mistakes or some are victims of their vision. I was having pity on those who were taking bath in Ganga (last week in Ardha kumbha) with the belief that they got purified. ....what a wrong view! Similarly, seeing no harm on sexual misconduct is also a wrong view... I have nothing but compassion for those people.

vishontar, great job!!!!...you've explained a complicated stuff in an easy and, at least to me, in a persuasive manner. i am quite convinced with your reasonings. it does sound scientific to me. never analysed virginity with spiritual aspect. am a plain novice in this area. but your posts have urged me to look more into this very aspect and understand it's philosophy. please do keep them coming. when one does a reasoning like you do, they tend to end up with long posts, so don't worry about the length of your posts as long as you have time coz you do sound rational in your ways. LooTe

First when i saw the title of the thread, I didn't even bother opening it, i thought it was another junkie, but I gave it a shot. I started reading Vishontar"s last post and it sounded interesting, so I clicked on "view all replies to this thread" and started reading Vishantar's posts, infact I ended up reading all of his posts. I have to admit it, it has been the best thread i have ever read in sajha. Vishantor Ji thank you so much for this priceless messages. People who have read his posts will understand what i am talkng about. keep them coming Vishontar ji, we need more people like you, I know you can change so many lives with your great words.

Loote Ji and Nightcrawler Ji; thank you my friends for your wonderful words; I am honored! Buddha Said: Wise people can taste Dhamma as the tongue taste the soup. Those who are unwise can not taste Dhamma as the spoon can not taste the soup. Tongue tasted soup, I have nothing to wonder about! I feel thrilled to know that there are people who think as I think.

Just because we are in 21 century, does it give us the right to steal or to really show bad morals in the public? it is the same thing. Being in the 21 century is not the reason to have sex..... i think, if we can protect ourselves in place like United States by being pure, it will definitely help us remain successful in other aspects of life. My reason of abstinence is not for others, or to react to what others think, but it is for oneself. Controlling our physical emotions and desires are best for our own personal success and believe me i am walking in it right now and it is very difficult and i really want to practice it.

Cleo Ji, Thank you for your nice words, I feel happier. I can't say that I am spiritually evolved but can definitely say that I am spiritually oriented. It is a vast field and takes time to be evolved. On the other thread, I just mentioned that none the gifts you have chosen were right; however didn't mention what could have been a proper gift. Here I am letting you know, its an invaluable information hope you will treasure it. धम्म दानं सब्ब दानं जिनाति = There is no gift compare to the gift of Dhamma. Indeed, there is no gift other then the gift of Dhamma! Dhamma makes your happy; it keeps you happy and teaches you the finest art of living. So, I suggest you to ask for Dhamma instead of those useless materials :)

Hey vishontar, can you please open a new thread about your spiritual understandings? It would be really nice to talk about spirituality. This thread is little odd. p.s. you can disagree.

Sheetalb Ji, admired your wisdom..... Kudos! Its my fortune to be in touch with wise people like you. Please keep adding. Let me illustrate the point you have made: 21st Century: What should be in 21 st century? When we say 21 st century we mean an advanced century, which should be better than 20 th century. Our thinking should be advance; our way of living should be advance; our life should be advance and our behavior should be advance. How can a uncontrolled way of living be advance than the controlled one? How can an open expression of emotions be advance over controlling the emotions? Lets say there are two people, one expresses his anger and another controls his anger. Do you mean that the one who expresses his anger is the person of 21 st century and the one who restrain his anger is of 20th? Lust is the emotion worser than the anger. You can shamelessly express your anger but you feel shameful to express the lust. It is not a social taboo imposed by some conservative people but it is science. In this 21st century no scientist dare to write a paper saying that free sex is good for life. In this 21st century no physician/psychiatrist prescribe you for free sex. In this 21st century no sex right group comes on the street for free sex. If it were good my friend, there would have been a Noble Laureate by now who had proved it. If it were good my friend, Bill Clinton's daughter would have choose prostitution as a job. If it were good my friend, the most powerful person (Clinton) of the world wouldn't have cried like child, would have been rewarded instead. To be continued...........

Free sex that we see today in the west is not the sign of social evolution; instead it is waste product of fast life generated by the scientific achievement. If you don't know how to dump the waste it may cause problems. This is what happening in the West. Bush is spending Billions of dollars to restore family value; in other word he is spending billions to dump the waste. There is competition between husband and wife instead of love and oneness. Over 40% first marriages ends on divorces. There is agony everywhere. Psychiatrists makes millions of dollars and psychologist's shops are like mushrooms. What is the major cause of this all? Sex! I remember one of my Indian friend saying "Even food is sexy in America"! If these are the values that 21st century wants to offer, let me be a man of 20th century; I am better off! If you think this is progress and advancement, then what is regress and downfall? Don't hide your faults and ignorance inside the curtain of 21 st century. Science is free from time and space; Any person who will commit sexual misconduct will have have to face bad consequences. Nobody will punish the person but the person will punish oneself. He/she will get psychological torture which is the severer then any physical punishments...............This is inevitable truth and is science. This is true for all centuries and everywhere. Lets take good things from the waste and treasure good things that our ancestors have left for us. Lets take science from them; lets take technology from them; lets steal their scientific way of thinking; lets steal their culture of research; lets take their caste free society. Lets not take their sex free culture! Lets not take their divorce culture! Lets not take their AIDS and selfishness! Let's not take their modern family value! They are cleaver then us. They have stolen our Yoga. They have stolen our meditation. They didn't take our caste system. They didn't copy our Dashain. Let's do the same thing. Let's take their goodies only. Let's dump our waste and stop taking their waste. Its easy to copy bad things but we have to work really hard to take good things. Lets leave our bad tradition of laziness. Lets learn to work! We are also human, lets learn to think and analyze! Let's learn to decide with wisdom not with ignorance.

Mark My words: Mark my words today, free sex is unscientific. Tomorrow we will reevaluate out modern achievements and will realize that disciplined sex is the source of happiness and undisciplined sex is the source of agony. We will realize this simple truth! As people are turning back to Organic food, they will turn back to disciplined sex. As I mentioned my earlier postings, I don't want people to do things with ignorance. I want them to do things with wisdom. One, who abstain from sexual misconduct should know why he or she is doing. One should do things with wisdom not without wisdom. One should know the consequences of sexual misconduct and then embrace the life of celibacy. One should know the bad results of undisciplined life and embrace the disciplined life. If you don't know in 18th century physicians used to prescribe tobacco for constipation. It used to be a pride to smoke in the society. Those people, who were smoking, used to feel advance then their non-smoking forefathers. But in 19th century, scientists discovered that tobacco caused Cancer. .... Unlike tobacco nobody has prescribed free sex but nobody has looked the consequences of it as well; it has not reached to the critical point yet. To abstain from sexual misconduct is not turning back to past but to respect the nature, to respect the science.
