Here is an excerpt of an email that I received from a friend, who's currently in Nepal. Its a first hand account of the changes THAT ARE ACTUALLY TAKING PLACE at present....atleast things seem to be moving in some direction as opposed to the stagnancy that consumed the nation for the past decade....whether it is a positive direction or not only time will tell....till then all that we can do is be hopeful.....

>>Almost anybody and everybody who has seen and suffered from selfish act of Politician and Maoist, will surely agree with your opinion. Finally it is so nice to see and hear that every government officials are getting to work on time. One of my friend told me today that when he was going to office, he saw bunch of people cleaning and scrubbing Nagarpalica. Now you can get a Nepali passport issued within two hours, isn't that something. Roads are been cleaned before 7 am, garbage are thrown on proper place. We as a middle class family are loving these changes, and surly excited to see what's for tomorrow. Former politician houses are being searched, not to be surprised, they found Borajs of cash from two carodes to seven carodes. Hopefully the new government will cease all their properties that they have build from corruption by sucking poor peoples blood.
