Tibetan mastiff??  Are your friggin stupid, syakkurawhateva?  Bhote kukur = Lhasa Apso.  Look up the pics of a Tibetan Mastiff and give a tocksing to your head for just making some wild guess when you don't even know what the answer is!!  Damn, we have wannabe experts everywhere!!

which dog would win a fight, Rottweiler or tibetan mastiff ?  I am talking about the original tibetan mastiff from tibet, which are stronger and bigger than the ones bred in western countries. 

I personally would bet for rottweiler.

hahahah  For all you smart azzes above (including ma man, negrodamus):  Look at the pics below and figure out which the Bhote kukur is.  Is it A or B and decide for yourself.  You're still saying B??  hahahahahaha  I've known peeps refer to bhote-kukur as the specimen A below...BTW, do you see specimen B around in Ktm much??  hahhaa  It looks like you're looking for bhusiya-kukur instead!!

And nightcrawler, if you know the answer why even ask??  And Just to let you know, you got it wrong.  However, to answer your question about the fight between a rottweiler and a tibetan-mastiff...Well, the answer would be uncertain as these mastiffs are no joke either.  These Himalyan canines are known to fight against snow-leopards on many occasions when protecting the livestock of the Himalayan farmers. 

I had seen some of my frens having picture B (Bhote kukur) brought directly from Namche or mustang!! The Picture A dogs were rather called Bilayati kukur or Jhyapley kukurs!!
They had to be kept safe in cool temperature in summers of Kathmandu, or they would shed and even could die!! One of my friend had cross between Bhote kukur and Alsatian and that dog did survived well in Ktm; It was damn good guard dog I would say!! Could chop u off into bits and pieces if you become interfering to them; so better not call em wrong names eh!!
