No_queiro - I agree with you. Akhtar is a over hyped cricketer. And isn't the guy in picture Dale Steyn?
Amazing- I not a big fan of Akhtar but I dont mind watching him play.

Lol. IPL re. K khalko league ho yo. No bowler in the world can be compared with Dale steyn of South Africa. He is simply the best fast bowler world have seen for a very very long time. May be Waqar Younis during his hayday of early nineteens was as good as Steyn. Shoaib is not even as good as Brett Lee. His record speaks for himself. 23 test matches , 120 wickets , at an average of 21 and a strike rate of 35.

No Quiero, by not disagreeing with you, Im a big fan of Pakistain Bowlers from Imran khan to Wasim Akram and from Waaqar Yunis to Shoaib Akhtar. They all rock... Shoaib is big fun to watch, more than his bowling skill his activities are thrilling . And I simply like his aggression (thats why he is kicked out) anyway, I wish him BEST OF LUCK

no_quiero bro, I see your point. But dont you think its too early to tag him as the BEST BOWLER in the world especially comparing him to the likes of Akhtar and Lee. I know he's been a great bowler so far but it's too early to call.
PS: Akhtar rocked today. CHEERS!! Amazing and Sparrow!!

Bod dai. Kun jamana ma hunuhuncha. Brett lee' name is understandable. But shoaib Akhtar. Hahahaha. Even between Steyn and Brett lee there is a huge gap. By the way Bod dai you may as well remember me. I was one of the die hard Italian supporter during the world cup in 2006. Probably you were the only other supporting italy. I had a different nick then. Here is latest ICC cricket ratings.

no_quiero bro, just because he ranks among the Top 5 doesnt necessarily mean "No bowler in the world can be compared with Dale steyn of South Africa."
He still has a long way to go. Its just like saying Michael Hussey is better than Sachin Tendulkar just because his ranking is better. I mean Hussey got class but that doesnt mean he's better than Sachin. Just a thought.

True Bob Dai. Tara Dale steyn is only about 50 wikcets behind shoaib. And he have played a lot less test matches. On the current rate he will end up getting about 70-80 more test wickets than shoaib playing similar number of test matches.

I am sure after seeing amazing's stats all the English county will be dying to get shoaib in their team instead of Dale Steyn. Regarding Eurocup, without slight charm is gone. Love them or hate them England team always attracts football lovers. But for me it is always Italy.

Well. Amazing. Bob dai knows how I was alone supporting Italy during the time of world cup in 2006. I don't know why I am fan of italy though . I started watching football during 1990 world cup. I was probably in class 2-3 but somehow Italy team got in my mind. They came third in that world cup. I vaguely remember it was probably the first world cup of young Roberto Baggio and he played superbly. Italian defense was superb. I saw paolo maldini and became his fan forever. For me he will remain the best footballer ever. Unfortunately when we talk about footballer we only talk about striker like pale or maradona. But for me he was the best. He is the best defender and very good up front too.

hello everyone,
Nice to see Akhtar back into action with a big bang. I have always been fan of Pakistan's fast bowling from Imran Khan, to Wasim Akram, Waqar , Shoaib and Asif. All of them are tremendous player and best in their eown style. However, though Shoaib has the capability of being a great player, he involved himself into lots and lots of scandal, and i guess he is the most undisciplined cricketer at present.
In addition to that, he lost lots of matches due to his fitness problem, and discipline. He usually has a trend of coming back with a bang and gets banged after a couple of matches. I doubt how long he is gonna be that lethal even in this IPLeague. 2 or 3 games wont do for team to win matches. Besides that, i dont find anything in his bowling, except for pace. Lee has been good with swing and changes in angles and other stuffs enough to trap the batsman, but Akhtar has little of it. Players, dont fall into his trap too often these days, because they have started reading his bowling.
