when i went to nepal they didnt check my old I 20. i had transfered college but i carried the old one too just in case. the officer checked my new I 20 and stamped. so dont worry. the other documents would be passport. well those are the only mandatory documents. i advise you to get a travel letter from your international advisor.
have fun

don't worry.. it won't really matter.. they will take out your I-94 form from your passport telling that you left US.. and when you come back.. they will stamp your new I-20 issued recently by your college just like before but with the new date on it.. and they will issue you the new I-94 card on your passport..
have fun.. don't worry happy Vijaya dashami..
