करिमाले सीडीओ किन कुटिन काठमाडौं। आफूलाई एयरपोर्टमा लिन थोत्रो गाडी पठाएको बहानामा कृषि तथा सहकारी राज्यमन्त्री करिमा बेगम गत कात्तिक २४ गते मंगलबार पर्साका प्रमुख जिल्ला अधिकारीलाई चार थप्पड हानेर चर्चित बनिन्। तर राज्यमन्त्री बेगमले किन थप्पड हानिन् त प्रजिअ दुर्गाप्रसाद भण्डारीलाई? हालसम्म सार्वजनिक नभएको रहस्य साँघुले पत्ता लगाएको छ।
प्रजिअ भण्डारीको कार्यकक्षमा पुगेर कुट्ने राज्यमन्त्री बेगमका श्रीमान् मोहमद सलाउद्दीन कारक रहेको रहस्य खुलेको छ। बेगमनिकट स्रोतका अनुसार सलाउद्दीनको टायर रिसोलिङ सेन्टरका लागि ल्याउँदै गरेका टायर प्रहरीद्वारा पक्राउपछि घटनाको सुरुवात भएको हो। गत कात्तिक १९ गते राजस्व नतिरेको भन्दै प्रहरीले सलाउद्दीनका टायर पक्राउ गरेको हो। कर्मचारी स्रोतका अनुसार करिब ५४ सय रुपैयाँ मात्र राजस्व तिर्नुपर्ने सलाउद्दीनले राज्यमन्त्री श्रीमती बेगमको शक्तिको दुरुपयोग गरी प्रजिअलाई दबाब दिएर सामान छुटाउन खोजेका थिए। राज्यमन्त्री बेगमले दिनमा पाँचपटकसम्म लगातार तीन दिनसम्म फोन गरेर सामान छुटाउन दबाब दिएकी थिइन्। तर, प्रजिअले राजस्व थोरै भएकाले तिरेर छुटाउँदा राम्रो हुने जवाफ दिएकाले बेगम आक्रोशित भएको बताइएको छ। सलाउद्दीन वीरगञ्ज उपमहानगरपालिका १८ मा बसोवास गर्छन् भने च्याम्पियन टायर रिसोलिङ सेन्टर, बाइपास रोडमा सञ्चालन गरिरहेका छन्। भारतको सिवानमा मूल घर भएका सलाउद्दीनले १० वर्षअगाडि बारा जिल्लाबाट नेपाली नागरिकता लिएका छन्। त्यतिमात्र नभई सलाउद्दीन वीरगञ्जका नामी गाँजा आपूर्तिकर्तासमेत रहेको वीरगञ्जकै एक व्यापारीले बताए। सलाउद्दीनले गाँजा, अफिम भारत निकासी गर्दा सीमामा नेपाली नम्बर प्लेटका गाडीलाई भारतीय नम्बर प्लेटमा परिवर्तन गरी निकासी गराउने गरेको बताइएको छ। त्यसो त, प्रतिकट्ठा पाँच हजार रुपैयाँ प्रहरीले गाँजा निकासीका बेला पक्राउ नगर्ने सर्तमा लिने गरेको बताइन्छ। यसरी गाँजा निकासीमा पनि प्रजिअ भण्डारीले कडाइ गरेपछि सलाउद्दीनको हालको सिजनमा मात्रै करिब पाँच करोड रुपैयाँ आम्दानीमा समस्या देखिएको थियो। यसरी आफ्नो व्यापारमा समस्या खडा भएपछि राज्यमन्त्री बेगमको पारो तातेको चर्चा पनि वीरगञ्जतिर छ।
राज्यमन्त्री बेगम भने सद्भावनाका छोटेलाल साहमार्फत तराई आन्दोलनको सात महिनाअगाडि राजनीतिमा आएकी हुन्। सात महिना सद्भावनामा काम गरी मधेशी जनअधिकार फोरमतिर लागेकी बेगमले राजनीति गर्नुअगाडि चिया पसल सञ्चालन गरेकी थिइन्। राज्यमन्त्री बेगमले आफ्नै छोरा मोहम्मद अजरुद्दीनलाई स्वकीय सचिव बनाएकी छन्। त्यतिमात्र नभई भारतीय नागरिक जेनुन आदेदिनका नाति अनिजुल हकका छोरा सलाउद्दीनको नागरिकता प्रकरणबारे केही कर्मचारीले यसअगाडि नै चर्चा गरेको रिस पनि बेगमले पोखेको बताइन्छ। राज्यमन्त्री बेगमसँग प्रजिअ कुट्नुको रहस्य व्यापारसँग जोडिएको रहेछ नि? भन्ने साँघुको प्रश्नमा उनले फोन नै काटिन्। पुनः सम्पर्क गर्दा स्वकीय सचिव मोहम्मद अजरुद्दीनले व्यापार प्रकरण नभई प्रजिअले बेगमको हात समातेकाले कुटेको प्रतिक्रिया दिए।
यसैबीच, कृषि तथा सहकारी राज्यमन्त्री करिमा बेगमको हातबाट कुटाइ खाएका पर्साका प्रमुख जिल्ला अधिकारी दुर्गाप्रसाद भण्डारीलाई गृह मन्त्रालयमा झिकाइएको छ। करिमाले उनलाई थोत्रो गाडी पठाएको आरोपमा आफ्नो पदीय मर्यादासमेत भुलेर कुटेपछि बेगमलाई कारबाही गर्नुको सट्टा उल्टै गृह मन्त्रालयले प्रअिज भण्डारीलाई फिर्ता बोलाएको छ।
